K2 is the name of this surreal-looking mineral.. mined from one mountain in northern Pakistan, the second highest peak in the world - it is a Granite base with blue ‘orbs’ of Azurite speckling the surface.
What to say about this magical stone? I saw it, and wanted to cry. My initial reaction to it mirrored what I read so many others describe from working with it later on. It’s a blending of two worlds... Granite, which comprises much of the Earth’s foundation - is deeply grounding, a wonderful touchstone through life’s tribulations and in meditation. Azurite speaks to the soaring spirit.. resonating with the Third Eye Chakra it brings us to higher spiritual realms. The result - the combination of these two energies... is freedom. We are safely tethered to the earth, to our feet, our root.. while allowed the spiraling journey of the spirit.
I found this stone at a moment when I very much needed it.. deep in grief and going though major transitions — and I know she will similarly find her way to those whom she can assist- that is the beauty and power and wonder of working with these gifts from the earth.

This set has gone through a copper-plating process known as electroforming. It deposits a thick layer of copper onto the pieces - amplifying the natural energy of the crystals themselves as copper is an excellent conductor!
